Eastmark
Where Community Life Comes First
Eastmark is a 3,200-acre master-planned community built around the 96-acre Eastmark Great Park, and it's home to the Gateway Library, named the world's best new public library in 2026. It has resort-style pools, dozens of neighborhood parks, a busy events calendar, and top-ranked public and charter schools. It sits right next to Mesa's booming tech corridor and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport
Eastmark: Where Community Life Comes First
Eastmark was built around connection. Even the street names are inspired by visionaries and explorers. Front patios, neighborhood parks, and a greenbelt running through the whole community make it easy to meet your neighbors.
The community spans about 3,200 acres. It's served by major freeways including the US 60, Loop 202, and SR 24, so downtown Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert are all an easy drive.
Amenities and Activities
The Eastmark Community Center is the social hub, with shuffleboard, foosball, pool tables, skee-ball, a Scrabble wall, a toddler play area, and lounge spaces. Next door is the 4,000+ square-foot community pool, plus a 560 square-foot toddler pool for little swimmers. No reservations needed.
Eastmark has more than 40 neighborhood parks and miles of bike trails winding through its neighborhoods. The Community Life team keeps the calendar full, with bingo, free-throw tournaments, story times, book clubs, wine tastings, and bike groups. The event pavilion hosts the First Friday Concert Series, farmers markets, movie nights, and seasonal festivals.
The Eastmark Great Park
The heart of Eastmark is the Great Park, a public park the developer built that the City of Mesa now owns and operates. It has a splash pad, a play structure, a lake with a stream, an event pavilion, open fields, paths, and trails. The park is growing to 96 acres.
Kids love the Orange Monster, a signature public play structure. The splash pad is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nearby you'll find the Handlebar Diner and Steadfast Farms.
For Every Stage of Life
Families have splash pads, playgrounds, storytimes, and schools right in the community. For buyers 55 and older, Encore at Eastmark is an age-qualified neighborhood with its own clubhouse, fitness center, and resort-style pool. It has been recognized as one of the best master-planned communities for retirees.
Close to Work, Travel, and Everything Else
Few communities in the Valley are this close to so many major employers. Apple's Arizona Global Operations Center anchors Eastmark's northern technology district. It monitors operations at Apple's U.S. and international data centers and runs entirely on clean energy from a nearby 15-megawatt solar array.
Next door, Mesa's Elliot Road Technology Corridor is home to Apple and to data centers for Google and Meta. Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus, with nearly 10,000 students in science, engineering, and technology, is minutes away. Boeing and Intel have also brought thousands of jobs to the surrounding area.
Travel is easy too. Eastmark is about two miles from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, which recently passed two million annual passengers for the first time. Allegiant Air and Sun Country fly nonstop from Gateway to dozens of cities, and parking is easier and crowds are smaller than at Sky Harbor. Sky Harbor International is about a 20- to 30-minute drive.
Schools
Eastmark is served by two public school districts, Queen Creek Unified and Gilbert Public Schools. It also has its own early education preschool.

Eastmark High School: grades 7–12, with AP courses and Project Lead The Way engineering and biomedical programs. It consistently ranks among the top 100 high schools in Arizona.
